Personal Statement
I compete against myself every single day. I am always working to become best version of myself; the one God has called me to be. I am a scholar-athlete who is searching to fulfill a dream of combining my love for the game of basketball with my purpose in life - serve others by majoring in the medical field. I finished my junior year with a 4.35, a varsity letter in cross country, basketball, and soccer at Bishop LeBlond Catholic High School in Saint Joseph, Missouri. Besides representing my high school in faith, academics, and sports, I compete with a competitive basketball team and a competitive soccer team, SJSC Premier. I am all city, all conference, all district, and all state athlete.
I will bring positive contagious energy to any team I represent. Because both of my parents were b-ball coaches, I was born with a basketball in my hand and I love studying the game. I am ready to step outside my hometown to continue to grow in my skills and knowledge of basketball, but more importantly grow in character as a person. I know medicine is where I want to serve as career.
