AaLiyaha Thornton '15 Recruiting Profile

While being the 6th man of the year as a freshman, that was my breakout year in high school. I brought the excitement off the bench and progressed each year. I worked very hard each year on and off the court. I am the only girl in my family of boys that plays basketball. I used that as motivation to get better and show not only my family but everyone that I have what it takes to get to the top. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me academically, athletically, and that's willing to believe in me. My education comes first for me. I believe I have the talent, work ethic, determination, and leadership skills to be on your team. Being a four year captain since my freshman year of high school, I know I have what it takes to lead a team!
