As a student -athlete I strive to be a student first, and an athelete second. I have been playing Varsity basketball for Carolina Friends Women's basketball since 8th grade, and as a senior I'm now a co-captain of the team and have been for three years. I feel as though I would provide a leadership quality to any program that would have me. During my four years on varsity I have one many awards including, all conference sophomore, and junior year; and also I was awarded the nomination of the 2A NCCSA all state team 2011-2012. Last year our team made it to the state championships, although we did not win; we plan to be a contender again this year. As a student, I thrive, I have even spent a trimester teaching a class of my own. I'm also invovled in many clubs, and groups. In my search for a college the top three things that matter are the location of the school, and if the school offers my major. Right now I would like to major in business managment/ entrepreneuership, with in minor in foriegn language. I really would like to compete at a high level, and I feel as though I can. I'm willing to work, and earn a spot in the starting position eventually. Iam looking for a scholarship, because my family would apply for FAFSA if needed. I really want to play for a DI school but Im open to some DII schools. I'am also very open to diffirent types of schools. I hope this is helpful for coaches to learn a little more about me as a student-athlete.
