Kaitlyn Schmit '17 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing basketball ever since I can remember but have participated on a real team from the second grade and on. I love most all sports though. In High School I play softball, basketball, and track. As a sophomore I made it to state in three different events in track; long jump, high jump, and 200 meter dash. I am a well-rounded athlete that always works hard and is constantly looking for ways to improve my game. I'm a great leader that knows and understands the best way to point a player or team to success.

In the classroom I am constantly studying hard to get the best grades I can and I'm always working to maintain a high GPA. I understand that athletics can't take you everywhere in life and that a strong education is important too.

I hope to find a college that is a good combination of both athletics and academics. I want to continue playing the sport I love while also preparing myself for my future after sports.
