Personal Statement
College means a lot to me, it's a HUGE step in my stairway to the future. When I reach the collegiate level all I want is to be part of a team, to become part of something greater than myself. I have always viewed my teammates and coaches as my family, and I hope that I can become a part of that kind of family at the collegiate level as well. I believe I am a good candidate for teams at the collegiate level because I know how to truly be part of a team and to put the team before myself. I know how to appreciate the hard work of others, and to tell myself to work harder. Both on off the court I have learned to put in the time... I understand that education is just as important as athletics and I have learned to push my self in both fields. I always try to step up and offer whatever I can for my team whether that's rebounds, assists, points or steals. I am a true team player and I always push myself and others to be the best people and players that they can be.
