Personal Statement
I have been playing basketball since I was four years old and have love the sport since day one. Since I first stepped on the court, I have always wanted to play at the highest level possible. I know that playing at the college level will be a life changing experience that I am ready for.
I have strong post moves, ball handling skills, passion for the game, and a high basketball IQ. I am a team leader and am very hardworking on the court so I never let my teammates down. I feel when I pushed myself to the best of my ability it sets an example to my teammates to also try their hardest. I like to call myself a team leader because I always step up to new challenges. I feel like positive encouragement is a huge part on how my team preforms in the game, so I am quick to tell them how they are doing. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working player and one of the hardest working recruits you'll find. I am able to pick up any play quickly and run it hard to my full potential.
In the classroom, I study hard to maintain a high GPA. Being a three sport varsity athlete has allowed me to become the very organized and hardworking person I am today. I also am involved in everything possible at my school. I am a member of DECA for three years now and love everything about it. I am also very involved in class government. I am one of the presidents of the peer leader club and organize all the events. To help out in my town I am a member of the rotary club at my school. I am a member of the broadcasting club and make the morning announcements at my school.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the basketball court. I am open to all options and want to find the right college to push me down the right path. I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and make my mom proud.
