My collegiate goals and aspirations are to find the best college for me both academically and athletically. I want to be comfortable in the school I choose and be able to study my preferred major, which is exercise science/physical therapy. Basketball is one of the best parts of my life and I have been playing since I was six years old and my goal is to play throughout college. I am working hard to achieve this goal by not only attending regular practices but also working out with a strength coach and a conditioning coach every week. I believe I am a good candidate to play on the collegiate level because of my excellent leadership qualities both on and off the court, my unselfishness and the fact that I work to the best of my abilities every day. I am also willing to work to get better, welcome constructive criticism and enjoy being coached. I feel I am different from other recruits because of the strength of my character and I do not partake in drinking alcohol or doing drugs. I have a learning disability that I have had to work very hard to overcome to maintain my high average in school and it has taught me to always give 110% effort and to never give up.
I will help contribute to my future team in many ways such as using my leadership skills on and off the court and setting an example with my hard work. My goal is to get better each and every day and I believe this is possible with the guidance of my coaches, the support of my teammates and the love of my family. Most importantly, God leads the way for me each and every day and He is the biggest reason I have been able to achieve all that I have to this point.
