Basketball Play - Very explosive....Could play 3 positions, but more suited as shooting guard or small forward. Deep range from behind the 3 point arc. Great ball-handler. Advances the ball quickly up the court. Possesses terrific court vision and awareness. Handles the ball well in traffic and feels where defensive pressure is coming from. Looks to share the ball and make the extra pass. Defends all 5 spots on the floor very well.
Very high basketball IQ. Hails from one of the state's top basketball families. Grandfather Dick Kortokrax has the most high school coaching wins in Ohio basketball history. Two older sisters, and a brother, have played at the NCAA Division I and II levels. Uncle Randy Kortokrax is the all time leading scorer and rebounder at the University of Findlay.
Needs 19 more made 3 point shots to become Van Wert's all time record holder. Already holds the school record for career free throw percentage at 74.3 % and consecutive made free throws (28). Has scored 703 points in 3 seasons. On target to become her school's tenth 1000 point scorer.
As a sophomore, was voted to the Van Wert Area Dream Team, and was second team all Western Buckeye League. Was also recognized as honorable mention All Northwest District. Led the team in scoring 11.2 ppg, rebounding 6.0 rpg and assists 1.0 apg.
As a junior, was voted to the Van Wert Area Dream Team, The Lima News Dream Team and was first team all Western Buckeye League. Was also recognized as second team All Northwest District. Named Honorable Mention All Ohio. Led the team in scoring 13.0 ppg,rebounding 6.7 rpg and assists 3.5 apg. Scholar Athlete.
