Personal Statement

My name is Ashton and I am from Tulsa, OK.  I am a 5'10 forward, but can also play the guard position. As a freshman, I played for Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas (NAIA, D2). I was one of 5 freshman named to the All-KCAC Freshman Team. I have a 3.75 GPA. I work hard so that I can be a good role model for younger student-athletes.    


This summer, I plan to continually work on my basketball skills and work additionally with a trainer that is concentrating on strengthening, core and shooting skills.  I am constantly looking for ways to improve my game. (Trainers- Travis Washington, Kansas and Fred Frierson, Tulsa) My goal is to get stronger, faster, and more consistent with my shot. 


I have no limitations as to the division school. I am seeking a degree in business administration and minoring in Criminal Justice.  I am looking for a college that I can be a solid contributor, build lifelong friendships with teammates and coaches, and obtain a degree.

I was asked to play with them by their coach and I am very excited to play and hope I can be helpful in the teams success. Premier Basketball Tournaments has been running NCAA certified and non-certified events for the past 17 years.
