Personal Statement

I want to graduate college as a student athlete.  The opportunity to continue my education and getting my degree is important to me.  I want to major in physical therapy.  I am also interested in Sports Psychology.  It has always been my dream to continue on to college and the next level of basketball.  I have the passion and desire for basketball and want to experience what it takes to play at a higher level.  Growing up, basketball has always been a part of my life.  I started playing in the 4th grade and each year my love for the game has grown stronger.  I am always willing to learn and continue improving my skills.  I am also humble enough to know that I am not the best player out there but I will work hard for my team. I took classes that seemed too hard for me because I wanted to see if I would allow myself to fail or push myself to succeed. Education is very important to me and the path I want to pursue in life.  Playing college basketball competitively is a major reward and I look forward to the opportunity..
