My name is Allison Shuke. I will graduate in 2017 from Bedford High School in Bedford, Pennsylvania.
I started playing basketball in fifth grade, and since then I have played on several AAU and recreational teams in addition to my school team. I am a 5'9" point guard or two guard, but I have experience in all positions and am willing to fill any position the coach needs me to play in. Since my freshman year, I have played on my high school varsity basketball team, averaging 17 points per game. As a senior, I am averaging 20 points/game. I scored my 1000th point during my junior year. I believe I have the skill, attitude, work ethic, and determination to play and compete successfully at the collegiate level. Although I'm flexible and willing to consider all possibilities, I'm looking for a college that will provide solid education and a basketball program that will make me a better player and a better person.
Academically, I currently carry a 4.0 GPA, and I scored a 1300 on the new SAT. I am ranked 1 out of 157 in my class. Eventually I would like to pursue a pre-med or comparable science degree.
Thank you very much for your consideration. I look forward to hearing from you.
