Personal Statement
Whether it is as a student or as an athlete, I consider myself a hard-worker and a leader. While attending college I hope to challenge myself academically and athletically. I am a coach-able, team player. I have learned many lessons and skills from basketball that are applicable to other aspects of life. Such as, I have discovered that there is always room for improvement and to never settle for the "bare minimum." In addition, I have learned that success is not easily awarded, but rather it takes hard work and a positive attitude. With this concept I have had much success, especially in my academic career by being a member of the National Honors Society and student of the month. I hope to use my competitive drive and work ethic to be a successful college basketball player.
