Taylor Grace '15 Recruiting Profile

On the court, I’m a quick and agile basketball player focused on the strategy of the game through coordination with my teammates.  I understand my role and through my drive and determination, I keep the team’s energy up and our minds focused.  I enjoy aggressive defense, fast tempo, and the thrill that comes from being tough and attacking the ball.  This year, my team ranked 2nd at sectionals, 7th at districts and qualified for state playoffs.  My freshman year, I was nominated team captain of the JV squad.
 
I’ve always been a natural athlete and have been blessed to live my passion for sports throughout most of my life.  Whether in league soccer, basketball or track and field, I’ve taken great measures through camps, workshops and coaching to continue to elevate my competitive ability.  I have a great deal of respect and appreciation for my coaches and hope to continue my athletic journey at college with a great mentor and coach.
 
Off the court, I attack academics in a similar fashion.  Through disciplined studies, I have excelled and achieved honor roll status since middle school. I get the most enjoyment out of the science curriculum and I hope to focus my studies at college in a science related field.  
 
Achieving success in sports and academics is not easy, but I’ve learned to create the necessary balance for school, sports, family and friends.  Each part plays a key role in my life and by giving each attention, I’ve been able to find the balance to enjoy everything that life has to offer.
