I am a senior guard at Quaker Valley High School who has been playing basketball since the age of three. Having traveled all over the country with my AAU team, I am excited about the possibility of attending all different types of colleges where I can continue my love for the game. Although I was named Defensive Player of the Year in 2015, I do not limit myself to being "half of a player." I was also able to achieve one of the highest PPG averages on my high school team as a sophomore. Last year I was able to step into a leadership role as a junior and am a team captain this year, which will prepare me to be a better college player after my graduation in 2017. As a junior, I averaged 17.7 ppg, 4 steals/game and improved my 3-point shot. This growth allowed me to not only achieve the highest PPG average and the award for Most Valuable Player on our team, but I was also the third highest scorer in the North Pittsburgh region. My loyalty, determination, "coachability", and competitive spirit are assets I plan to bring to my future college team.
