My name is Loryn Schoelerman, I am an enrolled member of the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe, I live on the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation in Northwest South Dakota. I attend Timber Lake High School. Since 3rd grade, I have been playing basketball. I have been playing varsity basketball since my 7th grade year. I am 5'9" and on my school team I play post, however I do realize in college I will not be playing a post. I love defense! I love the challenge and the hard work. I am not afraid to take a charge and get on the floor if it is necessary.
Academically I have a 3.3 GPA and am a member of our schools National Honor Society. In school I have also been active in theater, Panther Pals (elementary mentoring program), volleyball, track, football statistician, and rodeo.
I am looking for a college that will challenge me academically as well as athletically.
