Hello, thank you for taking the time to view my profile.
From a young age, I have realized that anything worth having takes hard work and determination. I take pride in my work ethic in the classroom as well as on the court. My family has always preached to never settle for average, but to push myself to be my best in EVERY aspect of my life. Getting a great education that will secure my future and playing basketball while achieving this goal would be a dream come true.
In my high school career academically, I have striven for excellence and succeeded keeping my GPA as high as possible while attending all honor/ AP classes offered.
College would be no different. Regardless if I am doing what I love, playing basketball or not, my education is at the top of my priority list. I plan to go into Radiology. I have an eye for detail, and this field fascinates me.
I am a 5’6 junior point guard at Cumberland County High in Crossville, TN; I started my freshman year on varsity. On my team, I was named defensive player of the year with 152 steals and 120 rebounds, and had the highest 3-point % on the team with 41%. I was named All- district team, All-District & All- Region as well.
Also a starter my sophomore year, I was named defensive player of the year with 126 steals. With 149 rebounds I was named the “Beast of the Boards”. I had the highest 3point % with 37%. And, the most assist with 124. I was named All District Team, All District & All Region. I was also named MVP for my team.
Currently, early in my junior year, I have surpassed the 1,000 pt. mark, and received the tournament MVP at the Windermere Prep Rock Holiday Classic in Orlando FL.
When regular ball season is over, I continue to work by playing with the AAU team, TN Flight Select, out of Knoxville, TN. This team plays in many competitive showcase tournaments starting in March through July. These highly competitive games give me the opportunity to improve my game.
I would love to go to a college with a great radiology program. I am open to looking at any college until I find the one.
