Sara Garner '16 Recruiting Profile

   My name is Sara Garner. I am a 5'9 shooting guard(small forward) at Tullahoma High School in TN. It is located somewhere between Bonnaroo and Jack Daniels. At age 5 I fell in love with the game and have had a passion to pursue basketball since. I am strong in the classroom and strive to do my best in that area, because student always comes before athlete. I have a 4.1 GPA and am enrolled in many honors classes. I am also very involved in my school and community. I believe that as an athlete you should carry yourself in a positive manner since the people surrounding rely on you to represent them well, on and off the court. As for the future, I hope to pursue a career in physical therapy and attend a college where I could accomplish this. However, I am very open and would consider other options if a school could fit me in other aspects of my life. I know getting the chance to play at the next level will be difficult and I will have to work extremely hard, but I am willing to do so.
