Britney Longmiles '17 Recruiting Profile

I consider myself to be determined. I possess leadership, a winning attitude, and the ability to help create a positive atmosphere. I first fell in love with the game of basketball in fourth grade once I decided it was time to put away my dancing shoes. I have been playing AAU ball for seven years now. Defense is my strongest link and I have started to contribute a lot on the offensive end. As a student athlete, I consider myself to be very competitive on and off the court.  I currently have a 3.80GPA.  I am often my toughest critic but that has helped me exceed my own expectations, strive for perfection, and continue to seek greater challenges because I know the experiences I will gain will help me accomplish my goals to play at the collegiate level.

While I am still considering my field of study, I am looking towards sports medicine or sports therapy so I can continue to be active in the sports environment after I graduate.
