Personal Statement
I love basketball. I am a professed gym rat. I live to make my parents proud, especially my mother. I lost her to breast cancer in June 2011. She loved to see me play and I know she is watching over me.
I plan to play for a major college program while earning a degree, on my path to attending medical school. At some point, later in life, I also want to coach basketball at the college level. I want to be a positive influence on young girls.
My goal for the 2014-2015 season was to help lead my high school team (Cy-Woods) to the 6A Texas State Championship game, and win it. Mission accomplished!!! My goal for the 2015-2016 upcoming season is the help lead my team back to the 6A Texas State Championship tournament and win back-to-back championships. I also lead my private school team (as a freshman) to a SPC Division II championship. I was named to 1st team all SPC as a Freshman. I was named co-defensive player of the year for my team as well as being named 1st team all district, all region and all state. My fellow team mates also awarded me the Wildcat award for the team, which is the player who did everthing to help the team win on the floor and could not be replaced.
My AAU career includes winning a national championship in the summer of 2012. We won the Primetime 2012 National Championship. My AAU immediate goals are to win another national championship and play well in several upcoming NCAA showcases.
If you decide to recruit me you will get a proven leader, aggressive, hard noised, smart, confident team player who simply loves the game every since my dad taught me to play at seven years old.
