Everybody played sports when they were younger some quit and some found it to be their first love. I found basketball to be my first love and I couldn't get enough of it. Basketball simply isn't a game anymore but has become my life. A life without basketball would be bleak and empty. Basketball has become my identify and has made me who I am. As I have grown up, I started to notice how exactly playing basketball has shaped me into the person I am today. Basketball has taught me the power of hard work and how rewarding practice can be. Anytime I have been faced in adversity and had to go through any hard times basketball was always there. Basketball has always been there for me and has always been a constant in my life. I have learned through sports that to succeed you must first fail and how failure isn't always negative. I also take great pride in being student-athelte. I push myself academically and have taken PAP Algebra I, PAP Geometry, PAP Algebra II, PAP English I, PAP English II, and AP Physics. I will continue to constantly push myself throughout my high school and college career. I have been brought up in a family that knows the value of hard work and dedication. I have been blessed in so many different ways and I hope to continue to be blessed and use my blessings. My ultimate goal is to be able to play basketball at the collegiate level I play not just for myself but for my whole entire family and everyone who has supported me throughout all of these years.
