Personal Statement

From my freshman year to my senior year, I have learned more about myself as a student and as a player than ever. I learned what it truly means to work hard, be dedicated, teamwork, and to sacrifice for myself as well as for others. Going into high school my AAU team was very successful, we won multiple tournaments, along with being named the National Champions. Coming into high school, things were a little different for me in the area of basketball. My team wasn't very successful and never really has been. I had to step up more now than ever. High school basketball basically forced me to develop skills and confidence I never thought I would acquire so quickly. Coming from a 3A high school has taught me so much. From AAU basketball, to high school basketball, I have developed into the strong player I am today. I have gained not only the skill set, but also the mindset I have needed to succeed. It has also helped prepare me to excel to the next level as a student athlete.
I am looking for a program that is not only going to be a good fit for me athletically, but also academically. I believe I would be a great asset to any college team because I not only have the talent and mindset to compete at the college level but, I am also very eager to continue to improve my game and learn new things. I also believe my leadership skills, personality, and work-ethic could bring a lot to a team and help impact everyone around me. As a multi sport athlete and captain, I know I have what it takes to be a leader on your team and help your program. I will give you my all every time I step foot on the court and do whatever it takes to help improve your team and program.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
