Jordan Brooks '17 Recruiting Profile

   My name is Jordan Brooks, I am currently attending Lake View High School in my Junior year. I will graduate in 2017 in the top 10% of my class. I excel as a student as well as an athlete. I look foward to attending college so that I can continue with my education while also continuing to be involved with athletics. I am currently undecided on my major.  My main goal in going to college is to get a degree so that I can have a successful career and make a difference, but while doing this I want to participate in sports and continue to get better and develop my game.

   I have started on the varsity basketball team since my freshman year. This year was the teams most successful year in team history.  We finished as area champions before loosing in the regional quarterfinals. I am one of the co- captains of my team. I am hoping to lead our team to the state championships next season. I also play varsity soccer where I have also been a starter since my freshman year, also have varsity volleyball and track experience.  I play AAU basketball with the San Antonio Isanders attending many showcase and other tournaments throughout the summer.

   I believe I would be a great college athlete. I am a great floor leader, I see the floor well, I get all my team mates involved and try to make them better.  My speed and quickness allow me to drive to the basket and finish, and also get to the free throw line frequently. I am a hard worker and put in the extra time to make myself better. I am willing to go work hard and put in the time for the team to succeed.
