Hello my name is Bria Symone Ceasar and I am senior at Stephen F. Austin High School in Sugar Land, Texas. I am 5'11" tall, 135 lbs, and I currently carry a 4.37 GPA. I have been playing basketball since the 7th grade and club basketball since the 8th. I was previous a tri-sport athlete that included basketball, volleyball, and track. I started running track when I was 6 years old as a sprinter and this has gifted me with great athleticism in running the floor. I pride myself on my defense and my ability to run the floor in transition. I opted to focus on basketball solely two years ago in order to further develop my craft. I have played varsity basketball since my sophomore year (starting the last two) and I started JV as a freshman. Because of my height my first 3years of basketball I primarily played the 4/5 positions. As I developed my ball handling skills and outside jumper, the last 3 years I have played the 2/3 and this year I also play point guard to rest the starter. I feel that I possess strong communication and leadership skills which positioned me to be selected team captain the past two years. I have played club ball with Crossover Athletics and I have played in the Nike invitational the past 3 years in cities across the US. I have been coached and trained by some of the best coaches in the greater Houston area which has help me to develop a strong basketball IQ on and off the court. The offense at my high school is primarily structured around setting up my outside jumper, but I also have a quick first step in driving to the basket. I average 14 points per game shoot 78% at the free throw line. I feel as if I would be a strong contributor to a program that can utilize my athleticism, basketball intelligence, and my determination to always get better.
