Personal Statement
My name is Berklee Lerohl. I am currently a junior at Fremont High School in Plain City, Utah. I play and start varsity for Fremont's girls basketball program. I also play volleyball for Fremont, run the 100 meter hurdles, the 300 meter hurdles, and the 400 meter dash. I finished 7th in the state for the 100 meter hurdles in the 5A girls division for the 2015 season. I have played soccer throughout all my life as well, but I gave it up to focus more on basketball and the other athletics that I compete in. I am really hard working and I am always the last to leave the gym after practices. Along with finding time on my own to practice, I fit in homework, service, church events, poetry writing, reading, and family. Since 8th grade I have kept a 4.0 accumulative GPA, even with taking honors and AP courses. I not only work hard on the court, but also in the classroom. I have a very competitive nature that always pushes me harder and harder to succeed and improve. To quit is not in my vocabulary at all because hard work drowns out any chance it has to speak. My goal is to be able to get a college basketball scholarship and further my education within the major of education. I am very devoted to the things I love and care for, and I love basketball!
