Makayla Patterson '22 Recruiting Profile

Education and athletics has always been highly emphasized in my family.  As an all-state standout, my mother showed me the vast worlds that could be opened to me if just had a willingness to learn and compete.  I love competing and being apart of a team environment, my mother signed me up to soccer as young age and was able to excel.  Traveling and competing  has been a great education for me.  As I grew older and taller soccer became less of a attraction for sport and basketball stepped in.  With my mother's  basketball intelligence and her wisdom of teaching, I've been able to excel in another sport that I'm passion about.  Obtaining a college degree is a major goal for me and if I can play basketball and while attending college would be a dream come true.
