Personal Statement

My college goals are to study biology with the intention of going to medical school to become a cardiologist and to play basketball. I love basketball and have played for several years. I believe I would be a good candidate for the team because I am selfless. I believe in team first and foremost. I believe it's important to work together as a team for the win because one person does not make a team. I am very eager to learn and improve my game.

Winning our league two years in a row and winning the championship in the conference tournament two years in a row has been memorable. I have been fortunate to have been on a few pretty strong teams with great coaches. I have also been on teams that are not as strong but with hard work and commitment, we pulled through and came in second. Those tougher seasons really help you grow and make you want to be an even better player. Everyone was at a different skill level but we worked together and all improved. I have enjoyed being team captain over the past few seasons. I enjoy encouraging the girls to be their best and to enjoy the game no matter the outcome. I hope to play at the next level and improve my game even more.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
