Personal Statement

Dear Coach,

My dream has always been to play basketball at the highest level and help lead my team and the University to a National Championship. I have been fortunate enough to play for, with and against some of the best players and coaches in the nation and want to take this experience of mine to a University and Team, such as your own.

Being blessed to have been exposed to playing this style of basketball has forced me to grow up very fast. Before even reaching high school, I always played at the highest levels and did so in multiple sports, sometimes with as much as a 3-4 year spread. With a 5’9, 140 lb frame, it was obviously never about my size, but, rather, my heart, competitiveness, leadership skills, work ethic, understanding of the game and athleticism.

My hope is that we may be able to speak, so I can explain why I would be a great addition to your team and assist in your goals to win it all.
