Makayla Lancaster '15 Recruiting Profile

After being a 4 year starter and winning two state championships with my basketball team and volleyball team. I want to keep playing and working hard for my coach and team. My goal everyday is to give be the best I can in all that I do. I will give 110% to God, Family, Friends, Academics, Basketball, and all other sports I play. I aspire to become a great person for the Lord and through him I would to love play college basketball and get a great education. I recently had to recover from and injury.Through that I stayed positive and dedicated to becoming a better person and player. I was out for 9 months and what that did was build my hunger and strengthen my love for the game. I love the sport of basketball and I don't feel like I choose it, I feel like it choose me. God put it in my heart to have passion for the basketball. When I was 3 years old I asked for a basketball for Christmas and I started playing on a youth team with my older sister at 3.
