Personal Statement
I am currently a sophomore student athlete at Western Wyoming Community College (D1 Junior College); and am scheduled to earn my Associate Degree in Criminal Justice this year. I chose WWCC to change my game from a #5 to become a #3 or 4. As a distinguished 6-foot post player in high school, coaches at WWCC were confident they could transition me from a post player.
Equipped with a solid summer workout plan from WWCC coaches, I arrived on campus as a Freshman ready to compete for a position. I was projected to start at the #4, but was injured in the preseason. However, I returned toward the end of the season as a starter. My skills continued to improve and we finished the season strong as a team.
As a sophomore, my contribution to the team as a #3 and 4 is paying off. My coaches consider me a strong and athletic player who is very good around the basket, with the ability to score on the perimeter.
In closing, I hope to find a college that is looking for a hard worker on and off the court; someone looking for that player who can get them to the next level.
Please follow me at WWCC and speak with my college coach, Coach Garrett Sherman if you have questions.
