Annika Beckstrom '26 Recruiting Profile

At the age of 8 years old, I started to play basketball because all my friends were doing it. Almost eight years later I realized I was still playing unlike a lot of my friends I started with, and that was because I fell in love with the game and the process. I love how I am continually learning and getting better at offense, defense, and shooting. I approach each team we play as a challenge and work hard throughout the game. The feedback I usually get from all my coaches have been that I'm very coachable, I'm a team player and I'm dedicated on and off the court. I am a hard-working student, and my work and grades showcase that. On top of that I am a multi-sport athlete, and I am driven to my goals. I want to play basketball in college because I'm not ready to give up basketball in High School like a lot of my friends did prior.
