Hannah Kath '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Hannah Kath.  I am a junior at Muskego High school -  Muskego, WI.   My goal is to have a successful educational experience while playing competitive collegiate basketball.  It has been my passion since starting basketball at age 8, on a co-ed park and recreation team. It was a great start to my basketball 'career'.
Over the last 7 years, I have been involved in club basketball and various summer league programs.  I been starting on my varsity high school team since freshman year;  and, this year was elected captain.  All of these experiences have helped to develop me, and my skills, into an aggressive, confident and passionate basketball player, and student-athlete.  In addition to basketball,  I have played competitive soccer for years, and my freshman year of high school I started on our varsity team. I am extremely dedicated to my school work, interested in many areas of study, and overall -  fully engaged in anything that I set my mind on doing!
I have been fortunate enough to receive some awards for my accomplishments, such as:  2013-2014 Conference honorable mention;  2013-2014 Honorable Mention- All Suburban team; 2014-2015 Top Sophomore's to watch in Wisconsin; as well as the NCSA Athleadership Grant Award from my AAU team, Wisconsin RAP.
I have always focused on going to college.  To play collegiate basketball, a sport I love, would be such a great accomplishment.  It would allow me to attend a great school, get a great education and the ability to take advantage of all the experiences college will offer me.  My goal is to work in the business field - maybe in sports marketing or advertising -  travel and possibly experience living in another state.  It would also be ideal to do some coaching at the high school level- this would be very rewarding and give me a chance to use my basketball experience at another level.
