Shelby Hanson '18 Recruiting Profile

Basketball has always been my passion. When it comes to basketball season, I have many goals. I like to win, but it's important to have a team who plays well together no matter the score. I believe I would make a good candidate for a team because of my passion for the sport, my drive, my hard work, and my willingness to try new things. I have had the drive for basketball since the year I started, my third grade year, ever since then I have never stopped getting involved with camps to better myself as a player.  As a student athlete, school has always been my first priority. I tend to push myself to make the high honor roll, but still make time to be involved with sports and school clubs. I believe I am a good candidate for your team as I am dedicated to the sport of basketball and never stop pushing myself to my fullest potential. Some see it as I'm too hard on myself, but I see it as I'm working myself to the best I can be. Only bettering myself as a player.
