Julia Korklewski '19 Recruiting Profile

    Being 1 vote away from 1st Team All-Conference was the highlight of my sophomore season.  Especially after I was unable to participate my freshman year as I was sidelined from an ACL injury.  Going through rehab and having to work every day knowing the harder I worked the faster I could get back to playing the sport I love,  not only helped me grow as a player but as a person as well.  Having to sit and watch for a whole season made me realize how fortunate I am to be able to play the game and to not take any practice, workout, or game for granted.

    I'm very grateful to be a part of a program that is full of supportive and outgoing teammates that push me, and will continue to push me to be the best that I can be, as I do the same for them.  My teammates have taught me many qualities that I wish to bring to your team like being a voice in the role of a leader,  constantly giving positive support,  and showing persistence to never be satisfied with what we have but to strive for even better things.  I'm looking for a program that is well-suited for my abilities and challenges me at different levels from both an athletic and academic standpoint.
