Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Lucianne Rosario. I was born in Puerto Rico and I am now a senior at The Bolles School in Jacksonville, Florida.  I am Co- Captain of the Bolles School Diving Team, as well as part of the North Florida Diving Team, with coaches Melissa Moses and Allen Spreen.  It is my goal to continue with diving at the collegiate level, all the while excelling academically.  I was a former Level 10 Junior Olympic competitive gymnast, as my achievements include: JO State Qualifier, JO Regional Qualifier and a National AA JO Champion for Puerto Rico.  I transitioned into the sport of diving a year ago and thanks to my gymnastics background, I have made significant progress. I was able to qualify for 2016 District and Regional Championships, 2017 AAU nationals, and 2017 Districts, Regional and State Championships. I am a dedicated athlete, but also a well-rounded student, as I currently have a 3.9 cumulative GPA.  I also enjoy taking vocal, piano, and guitar lessons, as well as involving myself as a volunteer to my community as much as I can.
