Celia Schrecker '22 Recruiting Profile

I have committed to Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach Florida. dHi, My name is Celia Schrecker and I am from Tucson, Arizona.  I absolutely love playing competitive golf, so I play in every tournament I possibly can which I have already competed in 30 events in the past 12 months. I have averaged 2.3 over/ day in the last 10 JGAA tournament rounds. I just competed at the end of July in the Optimist International Junior Golf Tournament at the Tump National Doral in Miami, Fl and shot (79,79,69!) 69 was the lowest final day score in the girls division on the Golden Palm course and put me in 11/85 place overall. I have made drastic improvements in the past six months after a swing change in December and continue to get more consistent each tournament I play in. For a snapshot of my scores please see my profile pictures.  I just shot 69 (-3) at the Roar Classic High School Invitational to help our team win first place overall! (September 17,18th) 

  I am going to be a senior this year (class of 2022) at Ironwood Ridge High School.  We have won the state championship 2 years in a row, after I joined the team my sophomore year.  I am in all advanced classes  and have a 3.6 GPA. I love playing in the girl's championship division in JGAA and AJGA tournaments which I`ve played in a lot this past summer. Also I love competing with my team and coming together where we placed 3rd  in Nationals at Pinehurst and placed 6th this year nationally. I believe some of my strengths are my work ethic, confidence, positivity, athleticism, as well a great team player.  My putting has recently become a great strength in my game in addition to my distance with the golf ball.  I am very excited to compete at the next level in college with my teammates and create lasting memories and gain more experience at a more competitive level.
