Ariana Perez (Age...Personal Statement
I have been playing golf since I was in 4th grade at the Tiger Woods Academy and with SCGA. I know that playing in college is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life. I believe golf is a great metaphor for life, you get out of it as much as you put into it.
I have a nice touch on the green and a good concept of the game. I am very coachable and a very hard-working player.
In the classroom, I maintain a high GPA and enjoy spending time in my volunteer programs and at church. Last year in 2022, I served over 275 hours of community service giving back to my community and earned the Gold Presidental Award PVSA. I have a love for the game as a player and as a fan. I was able to volunteer at the 2023 US OPEN and the 2023 Genesis and enjoyed the experience.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the golf course. I would like to in play college at the highest level of competition where I can make an impact for my school team. I would like to be a role model to others and make my parents proud. I think my positive attitude, friendly smile, and good relationship with my coaches and teammates make me a good candidate for a college team. I had some wonderful experiences and opportunities already playing golf and meeting many Legends in the sport. I hope to continue that experience playing in college.
The best round ever is 78/79 In Nevada in November 2022 at Legacy GC.
I wrote a speech about golf - "I Love Golf" for the Optimist Club and I was selected from the club level to the District level
and would be happy to share it to give you insight into me and my relationship with golf.

Foreeeeee! I love golf! I am a golfer and carry my clubs with me all the time in the car, looking to play new courses wherever we travel. I have been playing since an early age, taking lessons, and entering tournaments. I spend a lot of time at the range and playing rounds of golf on the weekends...
