Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Kellsey Sample. I graduated high school in 2017 at Palmer Ridge High School in Monument, Colorado, I was the number one golfer at Palmer Ridge all four years. I placed 6th at 4A-State my Senior Year which was played at Colorado National Golf Club in Erie, Colorado. I played my first year in college at Colorado State University Pueblo this 2017-2018 school year. I traveled in every collegiate tournament up to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference tournament held in Chandler, Arizona at Ocotillo Golf Course. I shot my season low round of 73. I set myself apart from other golfers, student, people in general by my positive, outgoing, up beat, enthusiastic attitude, and hard work. I am a very coachable player, and take direction and feedback well, and apply my coaches input to my all around game. I continue to set goals for myself both in golf and in my academics so I always have something to strive for. I am the middle sister of three, and have learned how to be easy going, confident, a good friend, and a good listener. I hope to find that kind of relationship with a future college golf team.
