Personal Statement

My name is Danielle Reynolds. I am 16 years old and in the 12th grade at Grovetown High School in Grovetown, Georgia. I've played golf for five years. The past season, I was the only female on the girls high school varsity team and went undefeated. This year is my junior year, and I am focusing on my short game as I attempt to go back to the state championship. 4/27/12- I have successful completed my goal and will be returning to state. I'm very dedicated, and I practice outside of my club team as much as I can.  I have also played on several junior golf tours such as the Georgia Junior Golf Tour, Hurricane Tour, Augusta Mayor Cup, and the Augusta Junior Golf Tour.  I am open to any kind of school with a hard working dedicated golf team and supportive coach. I haven't perfectly narrowed down what I want to major in, but I know I'm interested in sports medicine or sports management. Just like every athlete, I'd love to play Division I, but I am a realistic athlete. I know that everything takes time and dedication. It'd be great if I played as a freshman. I'd want the other players to look at how I play and easily recognize my passion and seriousness to succeed. I know that I love playing golf and I will always play with heart, no matter where or what level I'm playing at, or what the score is.
