Personal Statement
My dad got me interested in playing golf when I was 12 years old. I have improved quickly since then with help from my swing coach, Brian Groszek, my Dad, and much time on the course. I am completely dedicated to the game. I think my most important attribute is that I never give up. I keep grinding away no matter what type of round I am having. I enjoy playing on a team and get along easily with others. You will find that I am one of the hardest workers you will find as well as being very coachable.
I have been fortunate enough to be part of an amazingly competitive high school varsity team. We placed 4th in Illinois both my freshman and sophomore years. My score improved by 19 shots alone this year at state. I now understand the importance of teamwork, commitment and sacrifice. I play in many AJGA, MAJGT and other tournaments through out the spring and summer. I play a lot of golf.
I would like to earn a golf scholarship at a University that will provide an excellent education to help me get into a great business program and continue my career in golf. I want to learn from great coaches, be on a competitive team and play in challenging events with committed and accomplished golfers. I believe I have what it takes to be a leader and roll model on your team.
