Golf is a challenging sport, both mentally and physically. I like the challenge that the game brings. I started playing golf during the summer before 5th grade, during the pandemic. I worked with a coach for a couple of years and started to improve my game. I have participated in Jr PGA leagues as well as the Under Armour Jr Tour. After having played in tournaments and leagues, I like the competitive nature of the game, and I like the challenge of being able to continue to improve with each round. I have continued to improve my game and still work with a coach. I am in 8th grade now, but I am really looking forward to playing at the High School level and would like the opportunity to continue playing even into college. I am a team player and while golf is usually an individual sport, I like playing with others and encouraging others to help us improve as a team. I don't know what my future holds, but I know that I love the game of golf and would like the opportunity to keep playing at a competitive level.
