Personal Statement
I started golfing at a very young age and I developed a passion for it very quickly. Growing up in a golf oriented family contributed to my love for the game as my parents were the ones that introduced me to golf. Throughout the years, dedication and hard work has brought my game to the level it is today. I earned an invitation to both the MAPGA Junior Golf Championship in August 2016 as well as the Michael Breed Junior Invitational in November. Although golf plays a large role in my life, education is my top priority. I am in the STEM Technical Middle College at Hagerstown Community College as a high school senior, majoring in engineering. I am enrolled in a prestigious college preparatory high school. I aspire to continue my education in a competitive, academic environment where I will be challenged mentally and physically. Currently, my desired list of majors includes mechanical and aerospace engineering, computer science, and business. My golf experience has taught me to enjoy intense preparation and to remain persistent amid disappointments. I hope to apply these lessons to my life and to my eventual career.
