Hi!
My name is Brooke Chapman and I currently Wachusett Regional High School in Holden, MA.
I have had a golf club in my hand since the age of 5, but have played competitively since the age of 13. I am currently a member of Heritage Country Club in Charlton, MA. I also play courses that include Kettle Brook Country Club in Paxton, MA, Holden Hills in Holden, MA, and Cyprian Keyes in West Boylston, MA. I tend to play in tournaments at Heritage Country Club and my scoring average is 85 and my handicap is 16.
I have been on the Wachusett Varsity Girls Golf Team since my freshman year. I have been slotted as the number three golfer all three years and hopefully will gain that number one spot this year. I have received All-Star my freshman and junior year and have also received MVP my junior year. I am recognized for my leadership and sportsmanship which is why I have been captain of the team for both my junior and my senior year.
During the school year and throughout the summer, I volunteer my time as part of the National Honor Society. In this community service group, we do food drives, help out with local elementary schools for family nights, rake the elderly's yards, and volunteer at homeless shelters to serve food along with many other services throughout the year.
I am looking for a college that will see me as a hard working student who is willing to put in the time and effort into their class work as well as on the golf course. Golf truly is a passion of mine and whenever I play, I see it as an opportunity to grow as a player by either taking suggestions from other players or watching "meandmygolf" on youtube for drills. I believe that my best golf is coming my senior year and I know that I will be a valuable addition to any team as I am coachable and interested in improving my golf game. I am looking forward to advancing my opportunities which will allow me to play collegiate level golf and further my golf career.
