Taylor Cantrell '17 Recruiting Profile

As a Freshman I decided to do something different than everyone else in my small town and so I decided to give golf a shot. My school only has a mens team but, I did not let that stop me. My first practice was my first time on a golf course. But, I was determined and I was already in love with the sport. I worked hard every day and two weeks later I had made my Jv team. Just a couple weeks later I was pulled up to my Varsity team in front of three seniors. I play from the mens tees and with all the same rules the guys have. I have asked for the rules for me to be the same as the guys because I know it prepares me and makes me so much better. I am currently attending Blissfield High School and am in eleventh grade. Im working hard this year on the course and in the classroom. Im currently taking many classes to get me ready to come to your college and play for you. I want to have the option to play for a wide variety of colleges and dont want something like my grades holding me back from playing somewhere.
