Kaitlyn Dent '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kaitlyn Dent. I am a Senior at Hattiesburg High School in Hattiesburg, Ms. I truly love the game of golf. From the very first moment I picked up a club and started swinging a few times, I knew that this sport was for me. I started playing golf in 2013 for the First Tee, in the summer before my 9th grade year of high school. Once I got to high school I joined their team, and still presently play there. In these four years of high school, I have grown closer and closer to golf. I enjoy playing on the course, learning more about the game every time, and meeting new people. God comes first in my life, second is family, and third is academics. I am all about my grades and maintaining a good GPA. I study hard for all of my tests, exams, etc. I maintain an A average in all of my classes. I am definitely a college bound student. I am really looking forward to playing on a collegiate level. I watch a lot of  NCAA Women's Golf tournaments on the Golf Channel just to see what it looks like to play college golf, and I admit it looks fun, yet very challenging which is everything I hope to experience on a college team.
