Slow motion golf ...Personal Statement
My goals as an athlete and student are similar. I aspire to succeed and work hard every day until I achieve my goals. In school my goal is to go to college and become a Registered Nurse. In golf I actually just started competing and playing regularly in June of 2017. I joined the golf team the first year it was available my senior year and worked everyday to better my score. This summer I was shooting in the 60's and 70's on 9 holes. Now that I have been practicing a lot, 3 months later, I have dropped about 25 strokes off my score. I believe I have what it takes to work hard and achieve great things.

- I started to play once or twice a year starting at age 13. However, once I realized a golf team was being formed at my High school in spring of 2017, I began to practice every day beginning shortly after that. I am still practicing every day now that the season is over, and in result, I have improved significantly in a short amount of time.
