My name is Jalea Culliver and I attend Marian High School in Omaha, Nebraska. I am in the graduating class of 2019. I started playing golf when I was eleven years old and competitively for about six years.
I would love to play collegiate golf because I love to play the game, competing, and achieving my goals. I am a fast learner and hard working and I’m willing to compete and work hard to earn my spot on a team.
I currently have a 4.0 gpa and I am a part of the Maria Chapter of the National Honor Society. I was on the junior varsity basketball team as a freshman and sophomore, and I also enjoy doing volunteer work. I have volunteered with the Ralston Chamber of Commerce, Open Door Mission, and tutoring.
My achievements this past year include placing 6th at the NWAGA stroke play, 15th at the Nebraska Golf Association Girls Amateur Championship, placed in the top 5 at all of my high school season tournaments including the Metro Conference (2nd place), District (2nd place), and State Championships (t-4th).
Thank you for your consideration,
Jalea Culliver
