Personal Statement
I envision my college years to be a personal growth period in every area of my life. My goal is to become a Physical Therapist so that I can make a difference for people. I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes when I was 6 years old and I had to learn at a very young age about responsibility and what it means to take care of my body physically and emotionally. Because of my diagnosis, my love of sports, and my hearts desire to make a difference for others, I really want to be part of people healing. I have learned that if it's to be, it's up to me, and to go after my goals with no regrets. On the course, I am a committed and dynamic player and positive influence on the team. I strive to be an asset to the team, my future college and my community. Most importantly, I conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the course, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches, the school I attend, as well as my future.
