Adeline Truong '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Adeline Truong. I am a senior at Bishop Manogue and have been a player on the varsity girls golf team since freshman year. 

I’ve always loved being an athlete from swimming at a young age and playing basketball throughout middle school to finding a true love for golf since I picked it up the summer before freshman year. I’ve worked hard these past 4 years of high school to be a better golfer every year for my team. I’ve been part of the 5-years consecutive regionals champion varsity golf team since I was a freshman to my current senior year as a team captain. As I’ve grown with this team, I’ve also grown to be a better golfer and a leader. Last year, I played a leading role with the best score for the team at regionals to secure our regional title, as well as scored the best team score at state. Being a senior now with one more high school golf season, I’m excited to close out this season strong and for regionals and state! 

Outside of the golf course, I am a hardworker in the classroom. I spend a lot of time devoted to studying for school and my academics to maintain a high GPA. I have been inducted as a member of the National Honor Society and continue to strive in school with all my classes, including 3 APs and 1 dual enrollment in my senior year.   

I would love to attend a college that will not only help me excel in my golf game but also with my academics. Both school and golf are high priorities of mine, and I am determined to succeed in both. I am committed to working hard to be a contributing student and collegiate golfer.
