Sydney Jackson '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a high school junior at The Woodlands College Park high school who is looking to continue playing golf at the next level. I first picked up a golf club when I was 5 years old and ever since then I have fostered a passion and love for the game. I am a 2-year varsity letterman on my high school golf team and on the cross-country team. Until this year, I have been a 2-sport varsity athlete but have decided to commit to golf from this point forward. This will allow me to dedicate my time and efforts to improving every aspect of my game.

I dedicate myself to excellence and hard work in the classroom. I am enrolled in all honors and AP classes and have maintained an A/B average in everyone of them. Success in the classroom is just as important to me as success on the golf course. During the 2021-2022 school year I will be a member of the yearbook staff as the index editor. 

My favorite part about golf is the satisfaction I receive from simply just playing the game that I love. I am constantly working on improving my skill set and see my private swing coach Julio Vegas on a regular basis. I am looking forward to playing golf at the collegiate level.
