Personal Statement

Hi! My name is Olive! Thank you so much for taking time to look at my profile! I love the game of golf so much! I am a hard worker and will give 100% effort to everything I do. Although golf is a challenging sport, I love the challenge of striving to get better. I love competing against others and feeling the pressure of wanting to do better every tournament. One thing that golf requires is determination and I will bring that quality to any team. I love to be pushed to do different things as well as I love pushing my peers around me. Although I am young, I believe that hard work pays off. I love the feeling of knowing that after a tournament that I didn't do my best in, I can go back and work on those things and get better. I played pretty well. I shot 85 the first day despite how bad the wind was. The second day, I played good on the front, but struggled on the back. I shot 88 the second day. It was an awesome learning experience.

I played bad the first day, I really just could not putt and I shot a 91. Then the next day, I really locked in and was able to putt really well and was able to finish shooting a 78. I placed second in my category (11-14) then I tied for 16th place in the (11-18 year old girls.)

I played well. Started off a little rocky but was able to finish well and shooting a 78. I also was able to win.

I shot 88 the first day. It was very wet because it had rained the night before so we were able to play lift, clean, place. It also rained a little bit during the tournament. The second day, I shot 86. It was a little better. The sun was out a little bit, but it also rained a little. Lift, clean, place was also in effect.

The first day, I played really bad on the front nine, but was able to make it up on the back nine, and then the second day, I was really motivated to do well, and I was able to play well despite playing in the rain. Overall, I shot 92 day one, 88 day 2. Not my best tournament but there are more to come.
